Brooklyn Coop's Annual Membership Meeting 2024
Brooklyn Coop held its Annual Membership Meeting on October 26, and it was inspiring to see members and board members come together with great questions and engagement. We shared updates on our financials, plans for new branches, and held our annual election, giving everyone an opportunity to shape our future. A big thank you to the Brooklyn Peace Center for hosting us at their welcoming space and helping to make the event a success. Events like this showcase the power of a community-based credit union where every voice counts, and we all work together to build a stronger, more inclusive financial future. She encouraged lively discussions by pairing participants to share ideas and spark conversations. Brooklyn Coop provided tasty bites and beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere. We had a fantastic turnout and look forward to seeing even more participants at our next workshop! Click HERE to see more photos from the event.
Brooklyn Coop's Staff Maintenance Day 2024
On Juneteenth, Brooklyn Coop treated their staff to an exciting day out. They journeyed to DUMBO, Brooklyn, for an interactive activity at Beat the Bomb Brooklyn, where teams faced various challenges, racing against the clock to avoid being blasted by paint guns. The experience was both thrilling and demanding, pushing everyone to work together under pressure. After the intense and sweaty game, the team headed to Pollo D’Oro for a well-deserved meal. They enjoyed a delicious Peruvian cuisine, complete with flavorful cocktails/mocktails, appetizers, and entrees, making for a memorable and rewarding day for everyone. Click Here to view some photos.
