Brooklyn Cooperative offers among the most competitive business checking accounts in New York City.  We understand small business needs and have developed our accounts with you in mind.

You’re eligible to become a member if you are part of the Bedford-Stuyvesant or Bushwick neighborhoods. Just bring your account minimum balance plus a one-time $20 application fee, your business registration papers, and our membership application signed by your corporate officers. 

Corporations, partnerships, and non-incorporated associations bring a corporate resolution authorizing the opening of an account.  All account opening forms are available here.

 Account users must visit the credit union and provide:

•  Social Security card or ITIN.
•  Government issued photo ID.
•  Proof of address.

 Rates are effective as of June 1, 2013.
 

Visa Check Card

Every business checking account holder can request a Visa Check Card. Pay by debit card from your checking account wherever Visa is accepted.

Surcharge free Network

• Business Unlimited Checking account holders can make unlimited, free transactions at any NY Walgreens location whenever they wish.  Click here for a list of surcharge free Walgreens ATMs to find the one nearest to you.
